These 'endless ponds projects' are utter nonsense and its just more wastefulness by the minions in the Town Hall Palace .. their collective insanity continues... *muh climate change* zombies...
Even though I have spoken directly with and advocated for this project in the past with Andrew Black, Town Councillor Bruce Phinney, and others over the years, as well as with Matt Pryde and Todd Cole Staffers at Town Hall but also more recently with bookkeeper Michael Beal [who knows very well how much money is stashed away in 'reserve funds'] the fact is that they all do continue to ignore this project and disregard the request made by a group of skateboarding youth here who presented their request - for the record - in the summer of 2013.... but why? What does it take? What are they waiting for? Ten years waiting is more than long enough!
Postering for a long time around here... it matters.
Understand that many youth cannot drive themselves to other venues such as Moncton and Amherst to enjoy a real skatepark... this would really be a great improvement to the town's assets.
